Automatic Core Flow Tester

The M9100 automatic core flow tester is designed to accurately measure  permeability changes of a formation sample exposed to a variety of test fluids. To simulate the flow of formation fluids and treating fluids, flow can be across either end of the core. The M9100 can test acids and other corrosive fluids well in excess of 300ºF (149ºC).

M9100 Automatic Core Flow Tester Key Features:

  • Simultaneous multi-tapping differential pressure responses ensures the accuracy of transient flow study.  
  • Dual core holders accurately simulates the flow patens of two different porous cores under similar differential pressures. 
  • Innovative partitioning flow analysis simulates the true well bore core flow much better than other existing methods. 
  • Deep automation enables hand-free operation during test and prevents human errors.
  • Pneumatic controlled liquid valves separate electricity from corrosive samples.
  • Pivot mounting of core holders facilitates core holder assembly and disassembly.
  • One pair of high and low differential pressure transducers are installed for each tapping to obtain accurate differential pressure measurement
